2023 Highlights & Events on our radar for 2024

Thanks for signing up to be a part of our insiders crew at Consuming Collective! We’re so excited to connect and keep you better informed about epic events, our top foodie finds and the latest behind-the-scenes from your favorite NYC restaurants and beyond. First, let’s look at what you might have missed in 2023!

We moved from Queens to Brooklyn..

We lived on the border of Jackson Heights & Elmhurst (where my grandpa grew up) for 3 years before making the move over to Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The diversity of food in our old neighborhood was unbeatable and we became spoiled with options, but the move was led by wanting to be more central to the rest of the city, be closer to friends, and have a few more bars nearby.

We’re loving it so far though we haven’t found a Thai restaurant that rivals our old go-to spot, Ayada in Thai Town, Elmhurst.

Launched our YouTube Channel:

We launched our YouTube series where we eat with experts and the first episode takes us behind the scenes of the best spots in New York’s Real Little Italy. We make mozzarella, fill cannoli and dine family style with Carlo & Daniel on Arthur Avenue.

And something big happened…Si became a U.S. Citizen!!

We’ve been dealing with visas for over 10 years now, so this was a huge weight off of our shoulders. The timing was impeccable, he got the news just days before July 4th!

I even surprised him with a sail around the Statue of Liberty!

We traveled near & far for incredible eats…

From New Orleans, to Madrid, to Singapore! This was a year of truly ‘Eating Around the World’ and we’re aiming to launch some travel guides later this year.

We’ll be continuing to travel for food so if there’s a specific location you want featured, drop us a message!
